The event was opened with remarks by the Head of the Department of Economics and Development Studies, Akhmad Syakir Kurnia, S.E., M.Sc., Ph.D., and Mrs. Lady Hastuti as a representative of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) Australian Government. This activity was attended by World Bank Senior Economists, Wael Mansour and Alexandre Laure, as well as economists and lecturers from the Economics Study Program, FEB, UNDIP Esther Sri Astuti S.A., S.E, M.S.E., Ph.D.

The activity began with a presentation by Mr. Wael Mansour, regarding Indonesia Economic Prospects 2024. This was followed by a discussion on Unleashing Indonesia’s Business Potential by Mr. Alexandre Laure. Meanwhile, the presentation from the Economist and Lecturer of the Economics Study Program, FEB, UNDIP was by Akhmad Syakir Kurnia, S.E., M.Sc., Ph.D. and Esther Sri Astuti S.A., S.E, M.S.E., Ph.D. The event was hosted directly by the Head of the Economics Study Program, Dr. Jaka Aminata, S.E., M.A. as the moderator.
The discussion process during the seminar
The event was interactive accompanied by a question and answer session, where the enthusiasm of the participants who attended was quite high, both from FEB UNDIP students and from researchers and the general public. The event ended with a brief conclusion by Mrs. Esther Sri Astuti and Mr. Jaka Aminata as the moderator. Although there are still challenges and homework to be completed, Indonesia must face them well to achieve Golden Indonesia 2045. “The Show Must Go On” concluded Mr. Jaka Aminata.
