Mission of the Department of Economics and Development Studies (IESP) Faculty of Economics and Business, Diponegoro University:

1) Organizing Education in the field of Economics that is able to produce superior graduates by prioritizing a comprehensive, quality, and internationally standardized learning process.

2) Conducting research, both basic research and applied research, and publishing research results in order to develop institutional and individual capacity.

3) Organizing community service in order to implement research results and develop collaboration and social capital.
