Semarang, December 4, 2024, Diponegoro University held an event at Aruss Hotel with the title “Website Standardization and Security Assistance in the Faculty/School Environment of Diponegoro University 2024. This event was attended by the Vice Deans for Resources from 10 Faculties including FH, FEB, FT, FK, FPP, FIB, FISIP, FSM, FKM, FPIK, FPsikologi, and 2 Schools namely Vocational and Postgraduate. Lecturers and educators (tendik) in charge of the official website of each study program also participated in this training event.
This event was opened by Prof. Dr. Adian Fachur Rockim, S.T., M.T (Vice Chancellor for Human Resources, Information Technology, Law, and Organization) with a presentation on Undip’s efforts to pursue the target of the UNDIP Chancellor, namely to increase UNDIP’s Ranking to the top 500 in the world in 2025. One of the efforts that can be done is to standardize the Official Website of each faculty and school.
Then the presentation by Dr. Aris Puji Widodo, S.Si, M.T as Director of Information Systems and Technology. The presentation delivered was about Webometric analysis of the World Class University (WCU) ranking. Continued with a presentation by Wahyu Setiyadi, S.Kom, M.Kom as IT and Web Supervisor regarding website standardization in the Diponegoro University environment.

Security factors or Cyber Security are important for the management of the Official Website as explained by Kurniawan Teguh Martono, S.T., M.T as Deputy Director of the Directorate of Information Systems and Technology of Diponegoro University. In addition, it was also explained about the dangers if the website is “attacked” including a decline in reputation, loss of important data, and disruption of campus operations.
