Semarang, April 12, 2025 – The Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) of Diponegoro University (UNDIP) held a Halal Bihalal event to welcome Eid al-Fitr 1446 H. This activity took place in the Entrepreneurship Building Hall of FEB UNDIP and was attended by all lecturers, education staff (tendik), and the extended family of FEB UNDIP. The event was officially opened by the Dean of FEB UNDIP, Prof. Faisal, with the theme “Strong Silaturahim, Close Brotherhood, and Great Economy”.

Halal Bihalal in FEB UNDIP is routinely held after every Eid and on Saturdays. The determination of the day is because it is a holiday, so that all lecturers, education staff, and families can attend. On this blessed occasion, Prof. Faisal as the Dean of FEB UNDIP, with humility also apologizes profusely if during his leadership there are shortcomings, both in terms of policy, service, and communication with the entire FEB UNDIP family. He also hopes that this Halal Bihalal moment will be a starting point to strengthen collaboration, forgive each other, and together advance FEB UNDIP in a better direction.
The Chancellor of UNDIP, Prof. Suharnomo, also gave a message about the importance of increasing solidarity and synergy in the academic environment, especially in implementing the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. He emphasized that every academic community, both educators, lecturers, and administrative staff, have an important role. “Beyond your action, not your position,” said Prof. Suharnomo, reminding us that real contribution is more valuable than just a position.
