Semarang, September 13, 2025 – The Capital Market Study Group (KSPM) of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Diponegoro University, once again held its annual event, Diponegoro Capital Market Days (DCMD) 2025. The series of events, consisting of the 10th DINAMIC 2025 Gala Dinner and the 2025 Capital Market Fair, successfully attracted the attention of academics, practitioners, and young investors.
Held on Friday, September 12, 2025, at the Metro Park View Hotel in Kota Lama, Semarang, a warm and enthusiastic atmosphere was felt from the outset, as invited guests were welcomed with an opening ceremony, the national anthem, and official remarks from the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Diponegoro University.
The evening also included a sharing session with PT Sinarmas Sekuritas, entertainment performances, a networking session, and introductions to the judges and finalists of the DINAMIC competition. The Gala Dinner served as a crucial opportunity to strengthen relationships between students, lecturers, capital market practitioners, and institutional partners.
The following day, the 2025 Capital Market Fair was held at the Prof. Dr. Ir. Soedarto, Diponegoro University. With the theme “Exploring Promising Sectors: Strategic Drivers of Economic Growth,” the event featured several national figures. Among those in attendance were Isfhan Helmy (Head of Institutional Research at PT Sinarmas Sekuritas), Lo Kheng Hong (Indonesian Stock Investor), and Budiyanto (CFO & Corporate Secretary of PT Industri Jamu dan Farmasi Sido Muncul Tbk).
The discussion session was moderated by Frisca Devi Choirina, Founder of NGERTISAHAM, who led an interactive talk show. Additionally, Rudy Utomo, CEO of PT Sinarmas Sekuritas, and Sandiaga Uno, Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy of the Republic of Indonesia for 2020–2024, delivered keynote speeches. Bank Indonesia also played a role in a special session, where its officials presented presentations, emphasizing the regulator’s support for the development of the national capital market.
In his remarks, Rudy Utomo emphasized the importance of capital market literacy among the younger generation.
“With 37 years of experience, Sinarmas Sekuritas is committed to continuously promoting capital market investment literacy and inclusion. We hope this collaboration with the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) Undip and the Indonesia Stock Exchange will strengthen students’ understanding, while also providing educational opportunities and investment simulations,” he said.
The excitement of the event was further enhanced by the opportunity for participants to interact directly with speakers, learn investment strategies, and even open stock accounts on-site. Furthermore, the committee provided e-certificates, door prizes, snacks, lunch, and goodie bags for participants. As a token of appreciation, the five best questioners received cash prizes of Rp300,000 each.
This activity emphasized the commitment of the KSPM FEB Undip to improving capital market literacy among students and the public. The support from the Indonesia Stock Exchange, Sinarmas Sekuritas, Bank Indonesia, and various sponsors and partners demonstrates the strategic collaboration between academia and industry.
With this year’s success, Diponegoro Capital Market Days 2025 is expected to strengthen the role of the capital market as a vital pillar in driving sustainable economic growth.
