Public Debate of DESC Election 2025 Highlights Two Candidates from Economics 2023: Kania and Syafa Present Their Vision

Semarang, 17 November 2025. The auditorium was filled with enthusiastic students attending the Public Debate of the DESC Election 2025, an important stage in the democratic process of the Faculty of Economics and Business. Two candidates from the Economics 2023 cohort, Kania (Candidate 1) and Syafa (Candidate 2), delivered their visions, missions, and flagship programs before the panelists and audience.

The event began with each candidate presenting their programs. Participants paid close attention as the screen displayed the strategic points outlined by the candidates. The orderly atmosphere, auditorium lighting, and participants’ enthusiasm made the event dynamic and interactive.

Kania (Candidate 1): Emphasis on Strengthening Collaboration and Program Efficiency

Kania, the first candidate, presented her ideas in a firm and structured manner. She highlighted the importance of improving collaboration quality among divisions within DESC and optimizing work programs to maximize benefits for students.

In her presentation, Kania emphasized several strategic points:

Some of Syafa’s main ideas included:
