FEB Undip Becomes Educational Destination for MA Al-Kahfi and SMA RUSHD Sragen

Semarang, May 28, 2025 — The Faculty of Economics and Business, Diponegoro University (FEB Undip) held an educational visit reception activity from two high schools, namely Madrasah Aliyah (MA) Al-Kahfi Jepara and SMA Unggulan RUSHD Sragen. The event took place on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at the Hall of Building C, 4th floor, FEB Undip, starting at 10:00 WIB until finished.

This activity is part of FEB Undip’s efforts to bring the world of higher education closer to high school students who are in the process of exploring their interests and plans for further study. This visit is also a momentum to introduce various superior programs and academic facilities of FEB Undip directly to students and accompanying teachers.

This visit is part of the campus promotion and introduction program to high school students, as well as opening up space for interaction between the FEB Undip academic community and the young generation of prospective students. In this event, the visiting participants had the opportunity to get to know the FEB Undip academic environment better, including study programs, facilities such as the Bloomberg Lab, and international pathways offered through the International Undergraduate Program (IUP).

Visit Activities Series
During the visit, the participants were invited to follow a series of agendas that were packaged in an informative and interactive manner, including:

FEB Undip Introduction Session: Participants received an explanation of the history, vision and mission, and the advantages of FEB Undip as one of the best faculties in Indonesia in the fields of economics and business.

Study Program and Entrance Path Presentation: Students were introduced to various choices of study programs, including the Regular Economics S-1 Study Program and the International Undergraduate Program (IUP), as well as information on new student admission pathways such as SNBP, SNBT, and independent pathways.

Visit to the Bloomberg Laboratory: Participants had the opportunity to visit the FEB Undip Bloomberg Lab, a sophisticated facility that supports real-time financial data-based learning, which is one of the main attractions for students interested in the fields of financial economics and capital markets.
Interactive Discussion and Q&A: This session opens up a dialogue space between students and faculty, where they can ask questions directly about campus life, scholarships, career prospects for graduates, and the FEB Undip student experience.

The official invitation for this event was addressed to various internal parties of FEB Undip, including the Dean, Vice Deans, Head of the Undergraduate Economics Study Program, as well as coordinators and supervisors from several units supporting academic and student activities. On this occasion, the visit was represented by the Head of the Undergraduate Economics Study Program, Dr. Jaka Aminata, S.E., M.A., which shows FEB Undip’s commitment to welcoming and providing informative and inspiring experiences for students.

Through activities like this, FEB Undip continues to strengthen its position as an open and inclusive higher education institution, while also playing an active role in building networks with schools in various regions.

The Dean of FEB Undip, represented by the Head of the UNDIP Economics Study Program, in his speech said that this kind of visit not only provides benefits for students, but also becomes a means for the faculty to understand the needs of the younger generation in accessing quality higher education. “We are open to constructive collaboration. Who knows, from this visit, future economists, academics, and entrepreneurs will be born who are inspired by FEB Undip,” he said.

The activity ended with a group photo session and the handover of souvenirs as a sign of appreciation and mementos from FEB Undip to representatives of each school.

FEB Undip continues to strengthen its role as a higher education institution that actively builds connections with the world of secondary education, as well as instilling an academic and entrepreneurial spirit in the younger generation from an early age.
