Semarang, August 22, 2025 – The Faculty of Economics and Business, Diponegoro University (FEB Undip) officially concluded its new student orientation program for the class of 2025 with a culminating event titled Euphorion. This event concluded the entire ORION FEB Undip 2025 series and also affirmed the new students’ identity as part of the FEB Undip family.

ORION, an abbreviation of Young Diponegoro Integrity Orientation, debuted this year as a refreshed student orientation program. It replaced the previous program known as Young Diponegoro Orientation (ODM). More than just a name change, ORION was designed as an integrated series connecting PKKMB (Introduction to Campus Life for New Students), Pendikar (Character Education), and the lively culmination event, Euphorion.

The event began with the creation of a mosaic symbolizing the spirit of togetherness among the new students, followed by speeches from the Student Executive Board (BEM) Chair, Senate Chair, and Association Chair, as well as a parade of student organizations. This event not only strengthened bonds between students but also introduced the face of student leadership at the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) Undip. To complement the atmosphere, various student organization booths and Student Activity Units (UKM) were present, providing a space for new students to learn more about self-development activities outside of class. The presence of these UKMs provides a gateway for students to hone their interests and talents, while also expanding their network of friends on campus.

The Dean of FEB Undip, Prof. Faisal, emphasized in his remarks that student success is measured not only by academic achievement but also by the ability to build healthy social relationships. “To achieve success, you need not only academic ability, but also communication skills and social experiences that will shape your character,” he said before thousands of new students.

As a sign of closeness with the students, Prof. Faisal also contributed two songs, which were warmly received and added to the lively atmosphere. The main stage was then filled with energetic performances from various UKMs, including Dance, Economusic, and Cheerleading. This performance was not merely entertainment, but also a means of introducing the potential of extracurricular activities that can support students’ journeys at FEB Undip.

The event concluded with the FEB March, sung together by all new students. This moment fostered a strong sense of togetherness and marked the beginning of their academic journey. More than just a closing ceremony, Euphorion 2025 symbolized that new students were not only formally accepted but also warmly embraced as part of the FEB Undip family.
