Semarang, August 19, 2025 — The Faculty of Economics and Business, Diponegoro University (FEB Undip) successfully held an Introduction to Campus Life for New Students (PKKMB) for the 2025/2026 academic year. This activity focused on introducing the campus environment, academic culture, and values ​​upheld by FEB Undip to all new students, including those from the Department of Economics.

In his opening remarks, the Dean of FEB Undip, Prof. Faisal, expressed his pride in welcoming the new students as members of the FEB Undip family. He also emphasized his optimism regarding the potential and positive transformation that can be achieved in this excellent academic environment.

The Economics Study Program, as an integral part of the faculty, received an equal opportunity to receive orientation to academic culture. The material presented included an introduction to facilities, services, student organizations, core values ​​such as mental revolution, campus ethics, and norms of social interaction and academic life on campus.

The event took place at the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) UNDIP complex in Tembalang, Semarang, and involved over a thousand new students from three main departments: Economics, Management, and Accounting. The event began with remarks from the Dean of FEB UNDIP, who emphasized the importance of developing critical thinking, academic ethics, and readiness to face global challenges in the digital era and the green economy.

The series of events included an introduction to the faculty’s vision and mission, an introduction to study programs, socialization of student organizations, and various motivational sessions featuring successful alumni in business, finance, and entrepreneurship. Students were also invited to participate in short workshops on financial literacy, digital entrepreneurship, and an introduction to economic research relevant to current issues.

The 2025 PKKMB (Family Retirement Orientation) atmosphere was further enlivened by team-building sessions aimed at fostering solidarity among new students and fostering a sense of belonging to FEB UNDIP. Beyond formal activities, the committee also featured art performances, a student MSME bazaar, and an inspiring business innovation exhibition.

With the implementation of PKKMB 2025, FEB UNDIP hopes that new students will be able to live campus life with enthusiasm, uphold academic values, and be ready to contribute to producing an economic generation with integrity, creativity, and global competitiveness.
