The Faculty of Economics and Business, Diponegoro University (FEB Undip) will hold a special event titled “Alumni and Retired Persons Visit” with the theme “Renewing Relationships, Preserving Memories, and Inspiring Generations.” The event held on Friday, August 15, 2025, from 1:00 PM WIB (Western Indonesian Time) onwards, in the Entrepreneurship Building Hall, 4th Floor, FEB Undip, Tembalang, Semarang.
This event is designed to be a moment of camaraderie, bringing together lecturers, administrative staff, and alumni from across the academic year. Besides being a chance to reconnect, the event also serves as a token of appreciation for educators and staff who have completed their duties. Their presence serves as a reminder of their dedication and contributions in building FEB Undip to its current position.
One of the figures who will be present at this event is Mr. L. Suryanto, a senior lecturer in the Management Study Program, who is now 84 years old. He is known as a dedicated figure who has spent years educating and mentoring students. His presence symbolizes the strong bond between the previous and future generations within the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) Undip.
The series of activities will include remarks and reflections from faculty leaders, testimonials from alumni and students sharing inspiring stories about the role of educators in their academic journeys, and awards to lecturers and educational staff in appreciation of their contributions. The event will then continue with a social gathering, creating a warm atmosphere for sharing stories, reminiscing, and strengthening emotional bonds among the entire academic community.
Through this activity, FEB Undip aims to emphasize that gatherings are not merely a gathering, but a means of maintaining the continuity of noble values, strengthening brotherhood, and igniting a spirit of collaboration across generations.
