I am Alfa Farah and I am currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at Diponegoro University, Indonesia.

I completed my PhD in Economics at the University of Muenster, Germany in 2019. My research interests are in the fields of Political Economics and Economic Development.

My recent work explores the political economy of decentralization. In particular, I am interested in how the adoption of decentralization policies rearranges incentives faced by political agents and, how this might determine political and economics outcomes.
