Strengthening the Role of Guardian Lecturers, UNDIP Holds Strategic Training February 2026

Semarang, 11 February 2026 — Diponegoro University through the Directorate of Human Resources (DSDM) is holding Guardian Lecturer Training for the February 2026 period as part of efforts to improve the quality of student academic and non-academic guidance. This activity was carried out based on official letter Number 102/UN7.A3/UP/II/2026 dated 6 February 2026, Invitation Letter for Participants and was attended by lecturers from various faculties and schools within UNDIP. The training, which was held in two classes (11–12 February 2026), took place in the Sindoro–Sumbing Room, SA-MWA UNDIP Building, Floor 2, from 08.00 to 15.00 WIB. The material presented includes Academic Regulations, Non-Academic Guidance, Academic Guidance through SIAP, Counseling Communication Techniques, to Self Discovery and Goal Oriented: Psychological Phases of Young Adults. The resource persons are experienced leaders and academics in their fields, so that participants gain a comprehensive understanding of the strategic role of lecturers. This activity was attended by dozens of lecturers from the Faculty of Economics and Business, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Faculty of Psychology, Faculty of Animal Husbandry and Agriculture, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Faculty of Science and Mathematics, Vocational School, and other faculties. The enthusiasm of the participants reflects a shared commitment to improving the quality of academic services and student assistance in a professional, adaptive and humanistic manner. Through this training, UNDIP emphasizes that guardian lecturers are not just administrative supervisors, but strategic partners for students in their academic journey and character development. By continuing to hone their competencies, guardian lecturers are expected to be able to become inspirers, facilitators and companions who encourage students to reach their best potential.
