Semarang, Sunday, May 4, 2025 – In order to commemorate the 65th Anniversary of the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) of Diponegoro University, the FEB Healthy Walk, Fit Fest event was successfully held in the Embung FEB UNDIP area. Since 06.00 WIB, hundreds of participants from various circles—lecturers, students, education staff, and alumni—have enlivened the activity that lasted until noon.

The event began solemnly with an opening by the MC and a warm welcome from the Dean of FEB, followed by a speech and enthusiastic singing from the Chancellor of Diponegoro University, Prof. Dr. Suharnomo, S.E., M.Si. This moment symbolizes the start of the entire series of events for the 65th Anniversary which aims to raise the spirit of togetherness and fitness of FEB residents. The morning atmosphere was even more lively with the release of doves and energetic group exercise.

After the exercise, participants took part in the healthy walk around the route that had been prepared by the committee. This activity became a momentum to strengthen the relationship between academicians. The healthy walk ended with the distribution of free breakfast, then continued with various entertainment such as the performance of the Economusic band and an exciting karaoke competition. This karaoke competition went through several stages, starting from the elimination to the performance of the best finalists, interspersed with hilarious intermezzos from the MC.

While enjoying the entertainment, the participants were also treated to an UMKM bazaar featuring creative products from FEB residents. In between the events, the committee distributed various attractive door prizes in stages. Spectacular prizes such as 4 motorbikes, LED TVs, refrigerators, washing machines, and various other attractive prizes were presented with the support of banking partners: Bank BTN, Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI), Bank Mandiri, and Bank BRI. Their presence was an important part in supporting the success of this event.

No less interesting, the committee also held a fishing competition which was enthusiastically participated by participants from various backgrounds. This competition presents various assessment categories, such as the first fish caught (fastest fishing), the fish with the heaviest weight, and the most catches. This activity not only adds to the excitement of the event, but also becomes a fun recreation event in the midst of a family atmosphere.

The event closed near noon with the distribution of the main prizes and a group photo session. The spirit of togetherness, fitness, and appreciation for the long journey of FEB UNDIP was very much felt in every series of activities. “Knowledge without integrity is like light without direction, let’s continue to move forward with knowledge and noble morals.” Hopefully the spirit of the 65th Dies Natalis will be the first step towards a FEB that is increasingly solid, healthy, and globally competitive.

The excitement of the FEB Healthy Walk, Fit Fest is not only an entertainment event, but also a reflection of the collective spirit of the entire FEB UNDIP family to continue to move forward together. The momentum of the 65th Dies Natalis is proof that the spirit of collaboration, creativity, and togetherness can produce positive energy that drives FEB to become a superior, inclusive, and adaptive higher education institution to the challenges of the times. With the same spirit, let us continue to move towards a FEB that is increasingly integrated, physically and mentally healthy, and ready to compete in the global arena.
