Semarang, October 23, 2024 – – The Faculty of Economics and Business, Diponegoro University (UNDIP), recently welcomed a visit from students from Al-Azhar High School. This activity aims to provide an in-depth understanding of the ranking, accreditation, admission pathways, leading study programs, and job prospects of the UNDIP Faculty of Economics and Business to students who are interested in continuing their education at university.
During this visit, Dr. Jaka Aminata, SE., MA., as the Head of the Economics Study Program, was the main speaker who presented various important topics. He explained the ranking and accreditation of Diponegoro University, which is recognized nationally and internationally, thus strengthening UNDIP’s position as one of the leading universities in Indonesia.
In addition, Dr. Jaka also explained the various admission pathways available to prospective students, such as the SNBP, SNBT, and independent selection pathways. This is expected to make it easier for students to plan the steps needed to become part of the UNDIP academic community.
The next session focused on the Faculty of Economics and Business, especially the Economics Study Program which has a flagship program, the International Undergraduate Program (IUP). This program provides students with the opportunity to study with an international curriculum, while preparing graduates who are competent in global competition.
In the final session, Dr. Jaka outlined various career opportunities for graduates of the Faculty of Economics and Business UNDIP. With the reputation that has been built, graduates of this program have great opportunities for careers in the public sector, multinational companies, financial institutions, and research institutions both at home and abroad.
The visit ended with an interactive question and answer session, where students had the opportunity to ask various things related to the Faculty of Economics and Business and life on the UNDIP campus. It is hoped that through this activity, Al-Azhar High School and UNDIP can continue to establish positive relationships and provide inspiration for the younger generation in achieving their dreams in the field of economics.
