Diponegoro Economics Project (DEP) 2025: A Platform for Economic Achievement for the Younger Generation
Diponegoro Economics Project (DEP) 2025 is a series of prestigious economic competitions organized by DESC FEB Undip (Diponegoro Economics Student Community, Faculty of Economics and Business, Diponegoro University). With the overarching theme of “Empowering the golden generation to innovate, sustain, and thrive in a dynamic economy,” DEP 2025 features three main competition categories aimed at high school and college students across Indonesia: CONCERN, ECONOLYMPICS, and BMC.
CONCERN 2025
(Essay and Poster Competition)
Theme: “Economic Agility in the Digital Era: Adaptation of Innovative Policies for Sustainable Growth”
CONCERN provides a space for critical and innovative thinking for active students (D3/D4/S1) from all universities in Indonesia. Participants are asked to address economic issues through essays and posters with sub-themes such as economic digitalization, financial technology, green sustainability, and social inequality. This competition is individual.

ECONOLYMPICS 2025
(High School/Vocational High School/Islamic High School Economics Competition)
Theme: “Golden Generation as Economic Changemakers: Transforming Challenges Into Opportunities in 2025”
ECONOLYMPICS is an economics-based academic competition for high school/vocational high school/Islamic high school students throughout Indonesia (grades 10–12). Participants’ understanding is tested through several rounds, including simulations and preliminary rounds, leading up to the final round. The material covers topics ranging from the fundamentals of economics and the history of economic thought to accounting for services and trade.

(Business Model Canvas Competition)
Theme: “Tech-Driven and Sustainable Business: Designing Future-Proof Enterprises”
BMC is a business model design competition based on sustainability and technological innovation for active undergraduate/diploma/diploma-level students. Teams consist of three people and are welcome to come from different majors and universities. Sub themes include digital business, tourism & local culture, health & wellness, to food & beverage innovation.

These three competitions are part of the Diponegoro Economics Project (DEP) 2025, an annual event that aims to:
Improve economic literacy among school and university students
Encourage innovation and critical thinking on contemporary economic issues
Bridge collaboration between young academics from across Indonesia
DESC FEB UNDIP, as the organizer, hopes that DEP 2025 will be an inspiring space for the younger generation to become adaptive and solution-oriented thinkers and actors of the future economy in the digital era.

Each competition has its own booklet, contact information, and registration link. Participants will also receive an e-certificate, as well as prizes in the form of a trophy, a physical certificate, and cash prizes for the first, second, and third place winners.
