Bronson Marpaung is a dedicated academic currently serving as a lecturer in the Department of Economics and Development Studies at Universitas Diponegoro (Undip). He completed both his undergraduate and master’s degrees in Economics at IPB University, where he gained a strong foundation in economic theory and applied research. His research interests primarily focus on macroeconomics, particularly in the areas of national economic policy, economic growth, and development. Additionally, he is deeply interested in political economy, exploring the interactions between economics and political structures, and how policies are shaped by both political forces and economic factors.
Bronson has also developed expertise in agricultural economics, with a specific focus on agricultural policy and its impact on economic development in developing countries, especially in Indonesia. His work seeks to contribute to improving the efficiency and sustainability of agricultural practices through informed policy decisions.Bronson’s academic approach emphasizes critical thinking and the practical application of economic theories in addressing real-world challenges. His work aims to foster a deeper understanding of the economic forces shaping policy decisions, with a special focus on the agricultural sector.
